    I don't see a problem with adding 6" to each end of the rake. I added a cylinder to my 7 ft rake to change the angle from the seat. Been helpful as I mostly rake rocks or leaves into a big windrow for removal.

    I've since had 2 of the 4 cylinder Perkins. Both good engines as well. Honestly I can't say they make a whole lot more power but they do drink more fuel. The 3 cylinder Perkins is a solid option.

    I'm not a real mechanic either but, if you are only getting a little diesel out of the injectors lines then you are getting air out as well... baring an air leak, more of the same should work. Maybe try bleeding injectors one at a time?

    I bolted mine to a 3x5 steel plate and bolted that plate to a pallet. I move it around as needed but store it out back when not in use. We have a lot of golf carts and good off road tires are cheap on Amazon. The HF tire changer is well suited for these 8-12" rims and tires.

    Wire feed issue with Lincoln 175 mig

    Progress, straightening out the stinger had some effect on the feed. I ordered a new stinger. Will double check the feed when the old one is off and let you know if this fixes it...fingers crossed.

    I'm just thinking out loud, the only change I can think of from the cold start to 10-15 minutes later is the temperature of the hydraulic oil. If it works with thicker oil and not with thinner oil then I would suspect Pump, cylinders, and such... But IDK this for fact.

    That depends upon the size of the saplings and what the max cutting of the Y blades is, usually a finish mower is not going to cut small trees. But it might strip them of any branches and foliage lrding to their death.
