What did you buy this week?

Two years ago we bought a new Kia Rio. It has 9K miles on it and since new it's had a "dead spot" in acceleration if you're driving any speed, hit brakes then nail it, it hesitates then goes. It can be dangerous pulling out somewhere and a car/truck appears. JMS makes a module that you unplug...

I was thinking the same thing. If I had my camera I would have taken a picture, but I insisted a clerk go with me to prove I was being honest. The clerk took a picture and showed it to the manager who said no. I was sure they'd honor the price. We've all bought things a customer put on the wrong...

What do you have for a first aid/trauma kit?

That's why my Dr. recommended Valium (Diazepam) because it stops a person's overreaction to something (bee sting or other trauma). Certainly check with your own physician first. They're inexpensive, easy to carry. That's why rescue people even if the victim cuts their leg off tells you to remain...

What did you buy this week?

I got this yesterday, $17, but what I wanted was something I could set a 5 gallon container on the ground and it would lift up about 4ft to 6ft. I just spoke with the Virginia county forestry agent and said he would have loggers cut them as some suggested here instead of paying it's making a little money. What do you have for a first aid/trauma kit?

Nitrile gloves? Maybe oxygen if you have room. Glucose for a diabetic maybe. I carry a few 5mg Diazepam (Valium) with me my Dr. swears by it, bee stings & trauma because he said the body over-reacts to things. Peroxide. Bar of soap.

Road privacy shrubs & cutting white pines?

I just returned from my homeplace, 15 miles away. There are I bet 10 acres of these evergreens that are growing like crazy, from little seedlings to 20 footers.
