JD 2320 Hydrostatic Rear Filter change

I had to rotate the rear wheel to a more favorable position to create enough clearance to slide the hinge pin far enough, even after removing the bushing. My wheel spacing did not allow much clearance.

    air filter seating on 2320

Hi Guys, I'm replacing the air filter on my 2320 and have a question about seating the new filter. Does the filter have to be aligned or rotated any particular way to guarantee a good seat? Mine fits snug in the canister with the canister lid latched, so does that pretty much guarantee a good...

    2320 Work lights

Pete, All three of my work lights are mounted on the center of the ROPS, hanging below it. Deere says to mount the worklights on optional brush guards that mount around the flashers. Near as I can tell, that's why Deere says the front work light kit (2 lights) is not compatible with...

    where to get Donaldson filter?

Sorry for the newbie question, but where can I pick up a Donaldson P164381 hydraulic filter? I'm in the middle of the hydro oil change for the JD 2320 and I find out that my JD "Filter Pak" does not even include this hydro filter. Do any auto parts stores stock such a filter? Thanks, Joe

Oil & Fuel  2320 hydraulic oil change -- questions

Fellow TBN-ers, I ran into a snag while changing the hydraulic oil in my 2320 (for the first time) and I have a few questions. Hopefully some of you veterans can help me out. My JD "Filter Pak" came without the orange Donaldson hydro filter that mounts just forward of the left rear wheel, so I...

2320: 4-foot bush hog, or 5-foot bush hog?

I'm in the market for a bush-hog-type mower for my 2320. I think Deere specs recommend 48" max cutting width. Is 5' too much? I will not be cutting a lot of acreage since most of my property is woods, but will be maintaining trails, mowing through some nasty blackberry thickets and the odd...

toothbar: should I bother welding it?

Hi Guys, My new 7-tooth Markham toothbar is just begging to be installed on my 53-inch bucket. It came with a couple small spacer plates that appear to be designed to be welded to the inside of the bucket. I'm sure this would reduce the chance of reaming out the bolt holes. But is welding the...

    Mowing  62D mower droopy

Hello fellow Deere owners. I've been lurking on this forum for a few weeks while arranging the purchase of my new 2320 which was delivered last weekend. The things I learned here convinced me that the JD 2320 was the best tractor for me. I have the 62D mower deck with the hydraulic independent...

    Price Check  2320 price info

This forum has been so helpful to me over the last few weeks as I made up my mind which make and model of tractor to buy. The least I can do is share my pricing info and purchase experience with you. It may be as helpful to someone as the other posts have been to me. I purchased from a dealer...
