Hello fellow Deere owners. I've been lurking on this forum for a few weeks while arranging the purchase of my new 2320 which was delivered last weekend. The things I learned here convinced me that the JD 2320 was the best tractor for me.
I have the 62D mower deck with the hydraulic independent lift kit. However, when the deck is hydraulically raised, it won't hold its position. It "droops" down to the mechanical stop height after a few minutes.
Surely this isn't normal. It seems like a hydraulic leak somewhere but I see no other sign of a leak.
The mower manual says that the "dual SCV regen function" should be locked out if the mower's hydraulic lift is used. But I have not locked out the regen function because that entails removing the right rear wheel, plus I'm not sure what functionality I would lose with my 200CX loader if I lock out the regen.
So ... does the droop indicate a problem? Do you think it's related to the fact that I haven't locked out the regen function? Am I missing something simple?
