Bit of a hack but some of the bolt style quick connect hitches have the correct 90mm CTC spacing for the spring loaded quick hitch to grab. My experience is opposite the OP. Back in the old days saw chains were expensive and difficult to get. You used them until pretty worn out. Nowadays they are cheap and easy to buy online. I sharpen them until 1/2 worn down and toss them. No sense in being penny wise and pound foolish.

It is just a simple hydraulic control unit with hoses. The shock mounts allow more movement from someone grabbing it than simply bolting it solid. I had my tractor for 20 years after I hard mounted it and never experience any trouble from doing so.

Around my area the materiel from the crusher/wash plant that they do not sell as graded rock is sold as "Dirty base". You want to avoid having it hauled when raining because it sets up like concrete and is hard to dump smoothly. It is quite a bit cheaper by the ton.

If you have a commercial saw mill in the area, and if they are willing to sell sawdust and wood chips, I found that a few loads of those over rocky uneven land is a quick way to get a level pad. They decay with time and create soil. But other than that the crusher fines are a good option.

The positioning of the cylinders and also the hydraulic hoses are a little short to the joy stick controller so there was no way to plug them back in until the loader was pinned in place to the tractor's mount.
