If y could spin the base and put the filter upside down, would that be ok?

Sorry the picture is sideways, PTO is left side and filter is right side. I have used it quite a bit and noticed a dent in the filter, it grew until it punched a hole in it. They are so close together that maybe the the body flexes and hits it. It´s frame mounted.

Hi folks, the backhoe gear pump hits and breaks the hydraulic filter. Am I not connecting the PTO correctly? Could I flip the filter upside down or relocate it, somehow? Appreciate any feedback. Caco

Upsss, must have done something wrong. Now I have 2 three point hitch controls. Remote connected to chipper rises and lowers the TPH :unsure:

I bought it from Jinma with the tractor. Seems to be pretty solid. we´ll see when I get it running

Thanks for the info, I am starting to understand a little more, I did the bucket thing and the flow from the tractor when the lever is pushed forward comes from the top connector. If I understood right, the power from the tractor should go to the flow or speed control valve (blue) and the return...

I see no T´s, Shift is part of my ignorance, meant auxiliary lever. Took a better picture and tried to mark them. Hope it helps

DFKRUG, You suggest I now disconnect the 2 hoses at the chipper and put them into a bucket? From what I´ve read on this forum I should bungy the auxiliary shifter in the front or back position. Then start the tractor and see witch hose the fluid flows from and connect that port to the valve...

I don't know what that connector close to the pto shaft does. How do I figure out which is the IN and OUT on your tractor's AUX valve ports. The hydraulics only works the feeder, so what happens if I get it wrong?

What does ISOB PF-3/8 mean?

The Jinma 404 tractor came with 4 extra male QA male connectors that are too big for any on the tractor. My 4in1 bucket has male connectors. Are these what I need for the chipper?

Hi T´s: I use L4 most of the time, it´s just a bit slow. H1 won´t go up any incline and down hill provides no engine braking at all. Tractor wants to fly down hill. :confused:

I guess this is how it is. I was worried something was terribly wrong. 1st gear high stalls at the slightest incline and it flies downhill. I can live with just using low no problem. Glad it´s not a mechanical failure that needs to be addressed.

Yes it´s bran new. The engine is Chinese.

Thanks folks, have very little flat ground here in the Andes mountains. High gears going down hill are way too fast. Guess everything is ok than and I just have to forget the hi gears. Thanks again.
