ZD1011 Fuel Consumption and Compare to Z724KW

Commercial mowers in our area say the ZD's run a full day on one tank and they have to carry extra gas for those units to run a day. WE do have a ZD out that is over 7500 hours of commercial and is now mowing a 7 acre home lot. Three belts on the deck with two by twigs and one when his...

Cub Cadet Pro Z - Any Experience?

I'd take the Kawi any day! For pro's they burn less fuel with more torque then the higher horse Briggs. Typically last longer too!

Cub Cadet Pro Z - Any Experience?

We sell both and have a customer with a 700 ferris as well as a 900s cadet and the 900s cadet is the smoother of the two according to the female operator of both. The Cadets with the steering wheel typically goes to people with wet yards so they don't tear it up or at least can mow it in a...

Current Kubota B-series - issues with rear remote leak downs?

I found the best way not to worry about it is after I get the tractor going I activate both the top and tilt cylinders fully to charge them for what might have leaked by between tractor use. Hasn't cost me a dime other then the time.

    Mowing Kubota diesel overheating.

Have seen many overheating problems in small diesels with weak injectors. A dry cylinder will do exactly what you have going on. Being used to larger diesels I found it odd but it is common in non-American builds.

    Mowing Kubota diesel overheating.

I would have the injectors tested. When one doesn't work right it causes a cylinder to run dry and cause a over heating problem while running extended times.

    Stihl KM 131R kombi review

The combi system is nice with the ability to break it down for hauling and moving it to the job site over the long extendable poles. The extendable is able to be longer at a sacrifice to the lighter weight and easier to handle kombi units.

Zero turn vs hst tractor reliability

Amazing as it it may sound we have a line of zero turns with full suspension which takes a lot of the bumps out. Something learned years ago large tires don't fall in small holes. With your current tractor it may seem very smooth to buying a economy zero turn with small tires.

Does engine HP affect driving power

Weight to horsepower is always critical! To many people are making their tractors to fat for the occasional need and sacrificing daily performance! Some times it can be overcome just by having more gears or ranges. I like the three range hydro's!!!! Best ever!

Running a Shorter Bar Stihl MS 251

Kickback on saws is from the upper and lower corners of the bar end. A lower degree on the end of the bar lowers the kickback. Depending on bars some have a more square outer end verses a more pointed end with more rounded corners.

    JD 650 starting

I figure I'd toss this out for an easy way to fix this problem for a customer. There is a wire (Rectifier) by the JD parts list that grounds out and goes through to the starter. part number CH20161 this part has been discontinued since 1988 and is currently unavailable thru the dealer. Is...
