    3939, 4610, 4630 hydraulic remotes

Thanks for the info, you have set my mind at ease. I realize you don't need dual pumps to run a rake or tedder. Single pump is fine to raise and lower. I was just wondering about being able to retrofit a 4 position valve to have the float mode.

    3939, 4610, 4630 hydraulic remotes

I'm looking for another tractor to be a dedicated tedding or raking tractor. I need at least one remote but it has to have a 4 position valve with float mode. Back in the day I had a 3930 with dual pumps and dual remotes that had this feature. I am finding out that I should have kept that...

Help me decide on R1 vs R4 tires for my first tractor

Somebody gets it. R4s are for flat, dirt, rocks, & pavement on construction sites like building and road construction to take abuse. R1s are for tilled fieds, pastures, hayfields, woods, etc.. If you are on any steep ground, R4s will scoot quicker than R1s. Manufacturers started putting R4s on...

Help me decide on R1 vs R4 tires for my first tractor

R1/ag hands down for your application. I have a Powerstar 75 with the ag tires. It goes from hayfield to the woods to pasture. I just roaded, it on pavement, with my Tajfun logging winch to winch trees for a friend 40 miles round trip.

    Powerstar 75 & tractormat.com

Took delivery of a New Holland Powerstar 75 week before last. Before getting too much dirt in the cab I ordered a floor mat from tractormat.com. Similar to Weathertech or Husky for trucks, these are formed for a particular tractor. I know this is as clean as the cab will ever be, but I can’t...

    24mph transmission

Hi, I have been looking to possibly purchase a New Holland T4.75 cab tractor. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the 24mph transmissions? I currently have a T4030 with a 12x12 20mph transmission. I am comfortable with the gearing and what gears to use in certain scenarios such as...

    Kubota M475

Does anybody have an idea when the new Kubota M4 75s will be available? My wife is pushing me to get a cab tractor, so I have to strike while the iron is hot lol. I currently have a NH T4030 open station. I want something about the same size so I was looking at the Kubota M7060 and the NH T4...

Finally got some rolled, love the weather man

Zero percent chance of rain through Sunday. That is what the weather report said on Thursday, so I cut my little 5 acre field behind our house. Friday afternoon about 4 PM, still a zero percent chance but the sky looked dark so I checked the radar. One small cell, yellow with a red center passed...

    Wallenstein FX 90 Skidding winch

Looking real hard at skidding winches and the local dealer has the Wallenstein FX 90 in stock. I'm concerned that the 9000 pound winch might be a little on the light side for what I am doing. My tractor is the one in my avatar, a New Holland T4030 75 engine hp and 62 at the PTO. These hills are...

    Post driver

Just finished driving a few posts for my sorting lot. Should have done this about a month ago...man the ground got hard. Driver is a Shaver HD 10. Didn't have a lot of trouble even though the ground was hard.

    Tilt trailer

I was wanting a small trailer to haul my Polaris Ranger on. The smallest thing I had that would work was my 12k dump trailer and it is a bit bulky for the load. After looking around and not seeing anything that was of decent quality or of a price I was willing to pay, I decided to piece one...

New Holland T4030 hydraulic pump question

I bought a used 2008 T4030 in 2010. I am possibly in the market for a 3 point hitch firewood processor but want to make sure that it has enough hydraulics to handle it. Specs say that it either comes with a 12.8 gpm or an optional 16.1. How can I tell which one? Called the NH dealer and they...

    They just dropped it off

Finally, after searching all over, I finally found a decent used tractor in the 60 hp range. I found a used New Holland T4030 FWD with 129 hours on it. It has the standard shift shuttle 12x12 tranny and came with a canopy and front end weights. I had the dealer load the tires and install a Stoll...

    TD Series

I have been looking at good used tractors lately. I almost picked up a TN75A with only 330 hours on it for a decent price I thought. The seller backed out at the last minute. Other than that, it seems that with the difference in financing, and warranty, it is almost better to go with a new...

Front-End Loader  Woods, Rhino, or NH

I am looking at a couple of New Holland tractors, TN75s, MFWD. Both are the same year, about the same number of hours, and the same price. The only difference is in the loaders. One has a Rhino, the other has a Woods. Both are skid steer quick attach. So...which one, or should I hold out for a...

    E Limited

I have been looking for a NH 4030, 62 pto hp, cab tractor to no avail. NH just doesn't seem to be producing much these days so I have been looking at Deere. Any word on the E Limited series? They seem to be pretty nice tractors. Are they cheap made or is the economy in the manufacturing process...

    NH 4030, 4040 w/cab...where are they?

I have been looking for a cab tractor, a NH 4030 for the most part, but would consider spending a little extra for a 4040. I checked w/ two local dealers but they did not have anything. One did a search and found two 4030s but they were so far away that it would be cost prohibitive to dealer...

    New, used, which tractor?

I have been looking to either upgrade my Ford 3930 to something with more hp, or possibly keeping it and getting another tractor with more hp to compliment it. Right now it is used on approximatley 185 acres of mixed woods, pasture, and hay. We also do another 35 - 40 acres of hay a few miles...
