I have a Rhino L200 9” PHD and it has stopped digging. I want to swap out the dull tip. I see 2 options: spiral point and fishtail. My soil turns to red clay at about 24 inches, rocks not a problem. Which point gives better results? Guadalupe County, Texas
Can my Kubota L6060 with a third function remote handle a loader mounted 18-24”auger? I’ve got a lot of trees to plant in the coming year and thought it would be a nice way to dig the holes.
My Auger is hanging on a chain in the way of everything. There is not a good way to detach and store such a floppy, heavy, hard to handle piece of equipment.
It gets used maybe once or twice a year and needs to be out of the way but stored where hookup by one person is possible.
Any fellow...
I'm planning to put up a small pole barn come spring, looking for recommendations for a 3 pt. auger/post-hole digger. Other than this project, probably not something I'd use a lot so I'm looking for a lower-grade unit but still one that'll do the job. I've seen a couple sub $1k ones, including...
Ive burned through 3 little two stroke augers and im getting tired of fiddling with teeny carburetors. My kubota has auxiliary hrdraulics front and back, and the soil at my place has virtually zero rock. Why couldnt I make a simple bracket to go on my qc backhoe bucket and power my existing...
.I have been given a non working 3 pt post hole digger. I hate to waste anything. And enjoy out of the box projects. Has anyone built any attachments with one of these, or have any suggestions or ideas for me?
Prices too good to be true, free shipping etc. Anybody have any experience with these?
I'd gladly buy a used, brand name unit, but i cant find any locally for even double the price of the Chineseium units, let alone delivered to my door.
We have been putting in literally thousands of feet of woven wire fencing on treated wood posts on my farm this year. That of course means drilling lots of holes in sometimes Rocky soil. My tractor supply post hole auger is not very heavy duty and it looks like the key on the main gear shaft has...
Hi,
I'm looking to build a bunch of 3 board fence and I am looking at getting an auger for the FEL. Locally, they have the Eterra line (1500, 2500, 3500), the SKU's correlate to the Ironcraft models - are they the same thing?
My tractor has 9.5 gpm of flow (MX5400) so I was thinking about...
While perusing the local junkyard (I do that all too often) I saw a scrapped digger derrick pole setting truck with a big hydraulic auger. Picture an International truck which puts in power poles. Every bit of it is available priced by the pound. I looked up the model number of the derrick...
Ok.. I saw this auger bit that someone supposedly used on a Facebook post for a stump grinding..
the more question I asked, the more I doubted…
To save yall the collective bung output, I wonder have yall seen a bit used for that?
Buddy of mine just dropped this off, he was helping his boss move and he said if no one takes this it’s staying. He brought it to me. Gearbox seems ok. Rotates smoothly. It could use some new hitch pins and missing a yoke on tractor end. I’m handy and can weld. I was thinking about cleaning it...
I have a Yanmar Vio 35 excavator running an Eterra 2500 hydraulic auger motor. The placard on the motor was 2975 PSI so I set the PTO relief valve to that. This thing just stops on the slightest resistance and I am starting to think there is something wrong with this auger motor. Any ideas?
I borrowed a MF Model L post auger from someone to use with my Bobcat CT 2035 tractor. It seems to not use the top link of the 3pt hitch. I got it connected, but I can't lift it enough to get the auger off the ground. See the images. Has anyone had any luck getting one of these to work with a...

I’m in the market for a post hole digger for my NH 25s. I want to get the longest auger I can, in an attempt to reach the frost line. Does anyone have any experience with a 36” or 48” auger on one of these. My local dealership wasn’t able to tell me what would fit and what wouldn’t, but all they...
