I just changed all fluids and filters and afterwards drove the tractor back to the barn all seemed normal. A couple days later I went to hook up the bush hog and noticed that it seemed to lag when I put it in gear and after “sluggish”. The engine was running fine.
I drove the 200 yards back to...
About a week ago one of the FEL joystick ball and socket links (the one that controls bucket curl) broke. The ball and socket links are located under the rubber boot at the base of the joystick handle. I wasted several days looking for replacement linkage, but to no avail. So, I bit the bullet...
I own a Mahindra 5035 (50+ horsepower) and I was drilling post holes. All of a sudden, it started to slow down. When I went to increase the motors speed it start to blow black smoke. I de accelerated it and tried again. At first it was like it was back firing and then it started to blow...
My Mahindra 5035 loses quite a bit of hydraulic fluid(1/2 gal per month) with no visible leaks that I can find. Anyone else have this problem? Where should I look for the fluid loss?
I would think with that much fluid disappearing there should be visible fluid somewhere.
There is an audible...
This placed can keep you occupied for hours. lol
I've searched and read mostly older posts about the 5035. But most are the HST.
I need help researching the 5035 PST.
Any know and or long term issues?
Thanks in advance
Marc
One of my workers was using our 2012 Mahindra 5035 HST to move some debris at our golf course compost area when this happened. (see pic) Has anyone seen this?
Apparently, the 4 bolts that hold the front axle are threaded into the underneath frame and overtime worked themselves loose. Obviously...
Gentlemen.
I have a Mahindra 5035. This tractor has (according to the spec sheet) 43 HP at the PTO.
I am looking to up size on my rotary cutter. I currently have a 6 ft that my tractor handles easily, but it is light weight and a regular POS.
So i am looking to up size and get a better quality...
Does the 5035 use a odd ball starter? Most looks like they use the same but and I can get one for 150 bucks. The 5035 starter is 350 to 500. Im trying to find a rebuilt starter. Is it 10 tooth CW starter? Does anyone have a link to a rebuilt starter for 5035 Mahindra? I have fount one that said...

Mahindra Finance sent me a letter today and said that they would not be deducting that $515.97 each month that I had been paying to them, and that my Mahindra insurance was not longer in effect unless I wanted to pay them some each month to keep it active. Now I have to find something else to...
Hi folks! Happy new year to all.
First time poster here. About to buy a first compact tractor so no prior experience with them... Seeking advice from the forum experts.
I'm an Australian -so slightly different dealer/service context from across in the States. I've basically whittled it down...
Mahindra 5035 bows
I have a Mahindra 5035 and it did it again. If the ground isn't perfectly level, the tractor bows in the direction that is lowest. I have a fear that the Mahindra 5035 is going to tip over for no reason. I had a Kioti before and never ever had an issue with tipping so I am...
Was mowing lost power then died. Tried restart turn key - nothing. No dash lights, starter not turning. Full of fuel and battery <year old. 2012 mahindra 5035 HST
Thanks David
High guys... I've had my 5035 HST freewheel on me twice now. The first time I thought it was really just me going to fast to being with. I was in HIGH on a flat area trying to hurry, forgetting that there was an ever-so-slight downgrade and it raced away from me. The brakes really aren't that...
Hello everyone, First time here and I have a question I hope someone has an answer to. I have a 2011 5035 that began slow starting a couple of weeks ago, and now won't start at all, just spins. Glow plug lamp on dash comes on and stays on as long as key is turned on. Only has about 500 hours on...
Any one else busted the hood pull cable button off from just above the tire ? I think mine came off during some aggressive brush moving and clearing. I will try to track down a replacement and then maybe weld up a little cage around it to protect it.
Hello,
The shuttle shifter on my Mahindra is frozen. It is minus 30 Celsius here. It has frozen before, but luckily I left it in neutral, so I could at least start it and let it run until it unfroze. Today I see I left it in reverse the last time I used it, so I can't even get it started. I...

Anyone have experience with a ditch bank (offset rotary mower) on their Mahindra 5035? I am reading about them, but most seem to require cat 2 3 point and are at 50 hp or better minimum. I have a steep roadside ditch and three pond banks to maintain. I don't think my sickle bar is up to some...
Well I went and did it. I have a brand new 5035 in my possession. It was the last tier 3 machine on the lot. I got a 6 foot tiller and a 6 foot shredder along with the front end loader. I had the dealer run hyd lines from the rear hookup to the front end loader. So I can operate a grapple I have...
Is this cutter too heavy for my Mahindra? The cutter weighs in at 1,140 lbs. The advertised lift of the three point hitch on the tractor is 3,700 lbs. I know the center of gravity of the cutter is further back from the lift pins. Anyone know how far back? Anyone with experience using this...
Really narrowing down my tractor search, but might have an issue.
I have talked to several beef cattle farmers and they all say the same thing. "Get a tractor that can pull/run a 10' bush hog to mow pasture fields, because using a 6' or 7' cutter will take a really long time." I really like...
Hello guys,
My first post here and looking for some information. I went to my local dealer to see what he had on the lot. Looked at the 5530 and the 5010, just getting general information. Then I researched all the models online and came to the conclusion a 5035 PST 4wd will suit my needs...
I am in the market for a new 40-50HP tractor, and am leaning towards a Mahindra 50HP 5035, and was wanting to know if anyone has any good or bad news stories?
Help!
It's a long weekend and I was hoping to cut back some brush on my land...especially around my pond where I need to be going forward and back frequently. My PTO fuse has been blowing when I put my tractor in reverse. It doesn't happen every time, and usually happens when there is little...
I am considering purchasing a Mahindra 5035 PST.
I currently own a 2006 New Holland TC45A. I really like the New Holland, but I stopped by the dealer a few days ago to see what I could get on a trade for a new New Holland just like the one I own. Well, they don't make the same tractor any...
I currently have a John Deere 2006 model 5103 2 wheel drive. Have questions about the Mahindra 5035, 4 wheel drive, loader and backhoe. I guess my questions are about pricing, if the 5035 is strong enough for a backhoe. Also which should I buy the shuttle, PST or HST and why.
I have been a loyal "blue" tractor customer for years, but disappointed with their current offerings in the 50hp CUT line (anyone listening there New Holland??). Had the opportunity this last weekend to demo a new Mahindra 5035 PST with R1's. Had a lot of fun this past Saturday putting two fine...
Going tomorrow to look at a 5035 with power shuttle(PST) and loader. Don't know anything about Mahindra. Just want some input on the tractor as far as dependability. Mainly using tractor for moving 800lb rolls of hay. I mostly have read about bolts coming loose and parts breaking. Is this still...
I am highly considering buying a new 5035 but my concern is the placement of the plastic fuel tank that hangs right off the side of the tractor. I can see my self running a stick or throwing a rock up and pucturing it. Have any of you had any trouble with this? Thanks
Two questions: What is the difference between an SK and the ML 130 loader? On the line of Mahindra attachments, they list the ML 130. I did not see the SK listed anywhere.
Dealer quoted me a price on the Mahindra 5035HST with SK loader for $26,300. Does this sound reasonable?
Thanks! Rob
Hi All - newbie here looking for advice on tractor purchase.
Currently have a Kubota L3600 w/loader and backhoe which was fine on our 13-acre horse farm. We moved and now have approx. 60 acres, 40 of which are in pasture. Would like a tractor powerful enough to run basic hay equipment -...
Hello All
i have recently joined and would like to know if anyone using a mahindra 5035 with grapple could give info on how strong carrying trees up and down hills the unit is.
thanks
Hello All,
Decided to post here rather than the Mahindra forum so all can share in the joy of receiving my very first tractor.
The tractor is a beast and very user friendly. Spent 4 hours yesterday scrapping loam, dragging out rocks and leveling an area that will be an expanded part of the...
I am looking at these two machines for our hobby farm. its about 46 acres, 35 of which are clear... were going to be bush hogging, skidding logs, running a grapple and feeding round bales primarily... I also would like to be able to grow some of my own hay in the future.. I understand it may not...
I have a 5035 with around 12 hrs on the hobbs. Plowed 10+ acres today pulling a 3 - 14 plow. Tractor performed great, 1500- 2000 RPM @ 4 MPH with no trouble.
