Yes, we got sucked in hook, line and sinker and bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee this Tuesday. We have a 1992 LeBaron convertible and it's getting a bit long in the tooth so we had been talking about trading. Also, the convertible has a miniscule trunk and barely adequate rear-seat sitting for two adults (note rationale building as days go by). Anyway, we looked at length at the Ford Windstar minivan (0 percent financing for FIVE YEARS) and my wife liked it, but holy, moly; I really don't want to drive a big, ugly (my opinion only, obviously) box for an indefinate period. So we looked further and finally had a short list of the Ford Explorer and the Jeep Cherokee. I wanted to buy local if possible and we did find a vehicle we liked. The Jeep has a 7 year/100,000 mile warranty on the power train and we got it for 0 percent financing. Boy are they hungry for business!! By the way, the salesman told us that the Jeep comes with Mobil 1 oil from the factory. I'm glad because I've been using Mobil 1 for many years. Anyway, here we are with payments again... Anyone want to buy a convertible?
