What makes the cut that much better with the x540?

Basically, the BX gives an uneven cut and is much slower than the x540. And thats even with me paying more to get the fine cut deck. I could mow the lawn with the deere at about full speed and still have a great cut.

The deere had a higher blade speed (i believe). It definitely sounded "faster" in the tip speed department and it also generated move suction to lift crushed grass to enable an even cut. It was also lower, with no ROPS so i could get around trees easier.

I mowed the same lawn, at the same height, with the same growth between cuts.. and the deere absolutely destroyed my BX in terms of cut. It was so much better i wished i kept the deere instead of buying the mmm for the BX.
