I also looked at a Case d35, which model did you get?
I have spent a few minutes on 3 different tractors that I tried to descibe my feelings about each in general forum,

First timer and I may have asked to broad of questions cause didnt get many replies.

Anyway, didn't drive the Case because it was very similar to the used tractor (syncroshuttle, size, etc) and the used had alot more addons for less money.

I went with the DX40 which I think is the same as the TC40 NH you are looking at for the most part. I did opt for the Hydro. I was really looking at the DX35 but after talking with the folks here I opted for the DX40 for a little extra money. I am a newby with not very much tractor experience at all and I really leaned on the folks here to help me out. I had narrowed my search to the Case, Kubota and MF and after I sat on each one and used them for a while I was totally sold on the Case for several reasons. Mostly I just liked the way it fit me. I am 6' 4" and 250lbs and the Case just felt like home. I also really like the layout of the gauges, switches and levels and really liked the swivel seat. Going from some old tractors to this tractor with Hydro has been an adjustment to say the least. I had also looked at the NH but when the dealer told me he was going to charge me $500 just to install the FEL I scratched that one off the list. I love this Case tractor and find myself finding stuff to do just so I can get out and play on it.

it sound like a good price. the tractor will make you very happy. like my info says i have maney tractors but the 1433 is my favorite the 1433 is the same as the 1533
