For those of us who count on snow to make our living, this (snowless winter) is no joke! I will be happy to sell one kubota/trucking job per week at this point! Quanson cherry trees are in full bloom here in S E massachusetts.

The lack of snow even up here are starting to take its tolls...14 men from from 3 different snow removal companies have been laid off,and now there talk even the loggers might be shut down do to the ground not being fozen hard enough, plus our city considering posting the back roads to 6 ton limit...more warm weather headed our way..60's.

It's a strange winter season that's for sure, in the PacNorthWest we are getting pounded with rain/snow/cold temps/record breaking flooding/snowfall/winds, meanwhile back east it's been generally an indian summer. I know there is alot of controversy about the cause/reality of GW but it sure does seem that we are seeing major shifts in the weather patterns. Glaciers are receding at breakneck speeds, if nothing else, that's a sure sign something is going on.. I grew up in ND and we would have snow to the tops of the houses all winter long, the last 10 years my dad only has to plow a few times a year. In fact, this year, I have actually had more snow at my place (seattle area) than him!

cheers,
bigballer

You want SNOW com to Colorado. I own a plow truck and a 4520 Deere and have been out for 3 weeks moving snow. Attached is a picture of the big storm we had 3 weeks ago. We have had about 47inches this season.

Evening Ryang.
You folks indeed had your fair share of white stuff, and each night on the evening news one sets and stares at the pics...yikes.
Wishing warm spell for you all.

I've put over 25 hrs on my BX since 1 Dec just pushing snow off my drive. Got over 36" in the Christmas storm, 20" in the New Years storm and another 10" today. That's a lot of snow in a short period. The county even had their old snow blower on all the roads trying to push the banks back far enough to allow for the new snow coming in. It was impressive looking, wish I had my camera with me when I saw it.

Love the BX. It's a snow moving machine with just the FEL and back-blade. Would love to pick up a 3-ph snow blower but I bet they'll be asking prime dollars for them this summer, at least around here they will.

I feel for you guy's out west because I know what it's like getting pounded by snow on a daily basis. It's kind of nice to catch a break from the nasty weather and we got quite a break this year.
