$150 for the tractor which included a 10 disc harrow (at least 360 lbs in wheel weights with it). Changed the fluids and filters and freed up the injection pump (thanks to bob) and it runs, stops, drives, turns, lights work, horn works, hydraulics work, spare parts available for low prices ($150 for head gasket, complete seal kit, spare valves with guides and seats, ball joints, spare hydraulic strainer etc). Biggest cost so far was all new rubber (yes I know the rear tires are on e the wrong sides; late night install) Do you think I got a good deal? Other recent good deal pictured is the Lincoln SAM400 welder I got for $800 in non running condition and got it running and welding. Super smooth arc (almost as smooth as a round barrel SA200) and also has CV for wire which I am currently running .052" dual shield for welding up 1" A572 Grade 50 plate

Does it turn in the standard rotation and at the proper speed?

Got the new tires on the 1981 taishan 25 and took it for a good run around the dirt roads here and it was great. Now time to hook up a mower and realized that the pto shaft is 1.5" diameter 8 spline. I did a quicl search and found nothing on this size or adapters. Anyone have input on this?

Go to a machine shop and have an adapter made.

Talk to HubCity or Hayes Manufacturing. They can make the pto adapter. Cost may be close to $400 for one or two.

Email whichever company on aliexpress you got your parts from. Tell them what tractor you have and they will sell you the correct shaft. Just because they dont have it listed does not mean they dont have it. This is the store I have delt with the most.

Had not checked on this and ran out there and started it up to check. Thankfully it does rotate clockwise when viewed from behind (checked my yanmar 1300 and its the same rotation). Checked the rpm with an infrared tach and with the engine running at 1955 rpm the pto shaft was running at 581 rpm (speed lever in the lower of the two settings).

if you would rather do some footwork than go through the expense of making an adapter, you might consider just obtaining a 1-3/8 output shaft. I'll speculate that the output shaft is the same as used on many Chinese tractors.
