1/2 Ready For Snow..FEL Blade is Done

Really nice tidy job you did there but your going to wish you could angle it. Plowing with a straight blade is slooooow going. I'm about to do the same with my tractor. I have the 3rd function valve set up and I'm adapting my pick up angle blade to it.

You did a great job all the same and I bet your going to enjoy it.

Nah...dunno if you read thru the entire thread, but I really dont plan on even using the blade all that much, I'm a blower guy myself (74" blower on the 3pt)...so this blade is gonna be used 99.999% of the time to just backdrag snow away from the buildings, etc... I absouletly HATE Snowbanks...and when its -20 out, I hate shoveling too....so I got a tool on each end of the tractor to take care of both issues :D

1600' of driveway plus the neighbors and besides, my wing bracket is attached to my blower.

Steve Neat idea
I looked at your "stable" thread and saw some more pictures and did a search on wing plows which wasn't specific enough....have their been other threads on wing plows?
I have a similar road set up.
Looks great

I think your blade is terrific. I have a similar setup but I put on side plates it really carries a lot of snow and also does a clean job much quicker than a bucket. I took it off my old tractor when I sold it. I have to mount it to a quick tatch system for my new tractor. Sure wish I could fabricate like you! I suppose I will have to take it to a machine shop. I don't have an angle system either, don't think I want one, I want to push the snow to specific areas with no snow banks along the driveway.

Nice job.
Looks very good. I have a 2320 which I built the blade for last year. I use the SCV for angling L&R and raising and lowering.
I just added a new valve for changing the pitch angle of the blade.
Again, very nice job on yours.
