1$/gal. gasoline? Maybe, but what does it mean really?

we have a long way to go to reach a dollar. we're seeing 1.65 or more.

We've barely hit under $2. Most places hovering $1.90-$1.95

Bought gas for $1.41 at Terre Haute, IN last week and it has gone down since then.

How long with these low prices last and what will happen to end them? Oil producing countries, especially small ones are really hurting. Most of their budgets were predicated on $100/barrel oil. Prices changing this drastically will surely come to an end badly sooner or later.

So I don't think anyone how low it will go, when they stop falling I believe they will rise quickly. As for the small countries hurting, who cares Venezuela just about six years ago paying 15 cents at the pump while I was paying almost 4 bucks a gallon in South Florida I remember them reveling in the idea Americans were so stupid buying there over inflated oil. We saw the greatest redistribution of wealth if you remember we were importing so much oil in exchange for all of our dollars. It's cyclical that all that's going on here and will continue until he have sucked every last drop from the ground. In the end it will be all to familiar and painful as we have switched back to buying the biggest pickups, tractors and every other oil consuming product we can including myself.

I saw something interesting up in springfield Mo a couple of days ago. Regular gasoline was $1.24 and E85 was $1.26. Actually 2 cents higher than regular.. Now that is something.. Lets see... pay 2 cents more per gallon to get 30 percent less milage... Not THAT is a bargain.:confused2:

I read an article a couple of weeks ago how oil prices would rebound by the end of 2016. Now a new article on MSN says probably not. These speculators and analysts have no idea what the **** they are talking about and the media just fuels the fire. I may have to stop reading the news because it is obvious that they have no idea what the **** is actually going to happen.

It appears the supply is not going to subside this year as the mid-east and Russia are not cutting their production and China's and a lot of the rest of the worlds economies are slowing. I suspect <$1.00 gas is possible this year.

Here we are averaging $1.33 gal. Will drop more this summer.

Don't forget that some time this year, Iran's production will hit the world market. More oil to add to the glut. I just want to know, where are all the chicken little , we are running out of oil people now? Why aren't they here defending their position? We are busy shutting down wells, because the world is awash in oil. Running out of places to store it. Prices going lower every day.
