Today marked the 1 millionth L100 series at JDPP greeneville soon we will also have 4 million hours with a out hr due to work injury

Cool. Glad no one has gotten hurt on the job. I heard my dealer is only going to get a couple limited edition L 118s in stock for the whole year.

Do you work on the assembley line putting these mowers together? How many models do you see built in your plant?

Yes i work on the assembly line. There will only be around 50K units of the L118 and only limited shipments thru out the year. Tho it is planned expansion of the model depending on sales which is said to be high. Yes 4 million hrs is along time well people get hurt just not serious enough for them not to show up granted there have been around 2-3 accidents a week or so but for 1000 people i guess thats not bad.

The L110 which pushed off the 1 million tractor mark rolled off at 5:02 on friday the 19th on 2nd shift south line. I think there giving it away or something. Last time they gave it to the CEO of deere and company. like he needed it lol.

I was at the local Home Depot on Sunday and they had about 25-30 of the JD L118 models in stock. I did not know HD was going to sell them but there they were. So if you are looking for one or just want to kick the tires check HD. They are also selling the economy GATOR model. I was surprised to see them there.

They had economy gator there??? never heard of that. and for them to have 18-20 118's thats awful odd most dealers can't get 1. O well go figure.. I want one but my agco/bota wouldn't like me moving in any green tractors to barn lol..

I think the economy GATOR was the "CS" model. Does that sound correct?
Today I got a Home Depot sales flyer with the L118 on the cover. It sells for $1999 in this area. Looks like a good deal.
You work for JD and don't own one WOW! Don't you get an employee discount on JD products? Do they build the 2210 in your plant?

That's the same price for the 118 as we have at the dealer I work for. I don't even know if I would buy JD again. I'm just too picky. But I just worry about that darn oil leak I got to get taken care of on my 11 hour machine!!

No we don't get a real discount we use to get a 1/2 off sale at end of year for scratch and dent but not this year i think maybe we get like $50 off jd pressure washers or maybe $100 off the Xseries garden tractors suxs. Kinda ticks me off. I don't realy like most of there stuff more of an agco/bota fan myself.

The 118 is great but for 400 dollars less u can get a cub cadet or get a honda powered craftsmen. or stick what is it $199 more and get an electric pto and 48" deck. I'm not fan of the manual pto they have the blade brakes etc on the deere models.

They have several E-gators at work pretty cool they carry the smaller versions at HD where is this HD at? there what $4800ish??
