10 MM hand guns ??

I have a 10mm, I don't really care for it to tell you the truth, I see no use for it unless you don't have or are planning on buying a wheelgun. My 10mm Glock has lots of recoil in a light gun.. What are you planning on using it for? I bought it thinking I would use it for a backup on big game hunting in bear country but I use my Redhawk in 44mag instead..

Just shooting with our adult grandsons at our firing range.

I had a Colt Delta Tech 1911 10MM back in the day , it packed a whollup but I sure wish I never had sold it !

Sold 2 colt stainless pythons NIB about 20 years ago,still kicking my butt over that choice.

Ted Nugent likes 10mm, but he has loud and brash tastes and actively hunts with it.

For punching holes in paper, I see no point in the recoil or cost of ammunition. Guessing you know 10mm and .40 are the same diameter? Just shorter brass on the .40 and usually lighter bullets.

Yup..Cost of need and want are different according to lovely wife..

I own 3. I have a Dan Wesson CBOB, a S&W 1076 and a Witness Elite. I'd still like to get a Colt Delta Elite and a Glock.

They do pack some punch. Especially if you use the original full power loads (Which I think was 200gr at 1250 FPS).

I have a Glock 20C. It's the compensated 10mm model. It's hard hitting and VERY loud. Definitely wear hearing protection when I shoot it. It IS NOT a gun I would choose for casual plinking. Likewise, it's not a gun I would carry for bear protection. I would be carrying a 12 gage - double 00 buck for bear.

I have this pistol for "in house" protection and nothing else. If, for some reason, I have to exit the house and need protection - I will have my 12 gage with double 00 buck.

I had a chance maybe 30 years ago or so to buy one of those, I kick myself for not buying at least one.. They are bringing big money right now.. I have an old king cobra and an anaconda, smooth as it gets out of the box.. The new cobra's leave a lot to be desired..
