For my money, it goes beyond field dressing and into final cuts, spicing and storage containers.

On a serious note, I am waiting for the smart bullet to show up, a true fire, aim ready method.

My take on the article is that "tagging" is done by a "pre-shot" of setting the red dot on the target through the scope. It may take several "pre-shots" to get the target properly marked.

Then the scope is electronically locked on the red dot. It will allow the rifle to fire when the red dot is centered in the scope.

A problem arises if the target moves or is moving. The red dot will maintain its position in space rather than moving along with the target.

At least that is what I get from the article.

Ya'all noticed that they were selling a thousand of these guns to Remington to be rebranded? And that Remington would be selling for about $5000 each? That's a heck of a lot more affordable than $27.5K

This is a sniper rifle for the unskilled. Only thing it's missing is a set of micromotors to aim, and an electronic trigger to make the entire weapon a hands off system. I wonder if it comes with automatic range, wind, temperature, and air density calculators?
