It seems that my 1025r FEL just isn;t going up as high as it used too. It goes up quickly and smoothly right to the end point but seems about a foot less that last year. They say 72" but at what point is that taken? Thanks

Check the hydraulic fluid level, it may be low.

You might disconnect and reconnect the loader hoses.

Be sure your hydraulic fluid isn't low. I think the loader height is measured from the bottom of the bucket but could be mistaken. The manual may give dimensions and measuring points.

I thought the level was good. I wish there was a dip stick to check it.

I would have thought it wood have been measured to the pins but don’t know for sure.

JD went to a lot of trouble to manufacture and install a dipstick in the rear of the transmission housing of the 1025R. Why can't you use the dipstick they supplied?
