Don, are you just trying to make Harvey feel better for getting stuck at your place? hahaha

Good thing you have a friend with a dozer!!!

Don, sorry about your "slip." I was thinking that your backhoe is more of an anchor than a tool in that situation. Were you able to crab it out?

Hmmmmmm, that isn't stuck! That's an exercise in the proper use of a hoe and bucket for tractor extraction from bad situation while doing physical therapy.

What Don has done is he's placed the tractor in a situation where he gets to test his phsyical and mental skills.

This is a good thing. Someday he might really get stuck and these skills will be what saves his bacon.

And, this is an important "and", he gets to work his heart and sphincter muscles near their limits.

I see it as a win-win for Don. Great job planning.

Woops? Looking @ the photo I first thought your front right tire had fallen off! Then I saw it was submerged. Hope you got out of the quagmire w/minimal damage.

Plan "A" failed, the FEL could not pull the tractor out.
Plan "B" failed the BH could not pull the tractor out.
Plan "C" Failed the Farmall could not pull the tractor out.
Plan "D" Failed thought I had It dug out but it slid back in.
Plan "E" Failed the long chain on the come-a-long broke.
Plan "F" Failed, raised the tractor up and loaded the ruts with wood and stone, but it slid back in.

Plan "G" did work pictures later tonight. Temp 107.

After repeated failures and moving about 40 feet but still just as stuck as the night before I finally inched my way close enough to get my short chains and my come-a-long connected to my FEL and a tree that was finally in the right direction to pull me away from the water. I tightened up on the come-a-long and inch forward - repeated twenty times and I was out. :)

I presure washed the tractor for 2 hours and now I ready to go again, well maybe I'll take a couple of days off...:D

Oh, Eddie Walker I thought of your solution when I saw the last picture walking to the tractor this morning, but my Uncle sold his dozer several months ago.

Don,

That was a low down dirty trick!!!!!!!!

SHAME ON YOU. hahaha

Steph and I are sitting here, enjoying your pics and talking about ways you could of gotten unstuck, but that last picture really ruined the moment for me. Darn.

Now I got that vision in my mind and all my smart alicky comments just don't seem too funy anymore. LOL
