1045 Won't move ... brakes ????

I have a 1045 that does not want to move , it attempts to but it seems like the brakes are stuck , I loaned the tractor to a nieghbor down the road , he said it worked fine , he dropped it off and couldn't hardly get it off the trailer , now you can't push the brake pedals down at all ????

My guess is, it's time to really find out what your neigbor did with it.

If I was a betting man I'd say the machine was keep outside in the rain or snow. Had the same problem myself. The brake friction plates have separated and applied pressure to the steel brake disks because water got into the gear box. Most likely the gear box shifter boot is no longer water tight. Good luck, the parts ain't cheap!
