Thanks for the come-back on that CB,.....could you be more specific on the switch fuse. Not sure what that would be from here. Suppose it could happen to any of us, and might be nice to be able to go directly to it? Does that mean the old battery was ok or was it fried anyway?

Sorry to put you on the spot there, but I really can't picture where that switch is,...unless praps it is the "seat switch" or one of the "shut-down" switches,...Please help.

Also,...the fuse must have blown AFTER you put the new battery in,...otherwise howcome it was starting when you were boosting it? Anyway I am confused!

Hi,
The fuse is in the fuse box on the right rear side. It is marked switch, 4 amp, purple. Replaced it, turned switch on, got that big click, them turned to crank, yea baby - first time.
