I now have the spool "tee'ed" into the tank from one of the work ports. It now works up and down. I still want to slow the cylinder down, but the flow control valve i have bought, doesn't seem to so anything. I have reversed it and it will slow down the cylinder as it descends, but not as it goes up. Thoughts?
What type of flow control do you have? Since this is a fixed displacement vane pump you MUST have the relief before the flow control. If you install the flow control between the valve and cylinder it will effect the lower speed.
Do you have the V10 vane pump model code. If yes it will provide the flow rate of that pump.
