Oil & Fuel 10w-40 Diesel Oil

Trust me, I have read most of the oil posts but didn't find the answer so I'm asking the experts. I have an L5030 I'm planning for the engine oil change. Where in the world do you find a 10w-30 or 10w-40 non-synthetic, diesel rated oil like the manual specifies?? I am near the 50 hour mark and want to run non-synthetic for another 100 hours or so, but can't find anything except 15w-40 diesel rated oil. Any suggestions? I have looked at all the typical autoparts stores, TSC, AMSOIL,....and can't find non-synthetic 10w-40.

Kubota has 15W40 oil labeled with their name on it. It is most definitely allowed in your Kubota diesel regardless of what the manual says. I don't doubt that that is what was in your motor originally anyway. Ask your dealer, they will re-affirm what I have said. Just use 15W40. You will be just fine.

Shell Rotella now has a 5w40 synthetic diesel rated oil. Thats what I'm using in my BX.
