Do we "own" more, "operate" more, "use" more, or "break" more? Why does this single forum rack up SO many threads and posts? Simply amazing. What a wealth of information for everyone involved.

Kuummm-bahh-yahhh my lord...kuummm-bahhh-yahhh...

I think its' OWN more.... Could be wrong though...Not a lot of repairs needed as the majority of posts..Thats why I bought one. Hate repairs...More fun working.

Back in the old days when TBN was just a little website, it was dominated by Kubota. It still is have a very high % of Kubota users. Add to those tidbits the fact that Kubota sells something over 60% of all the compact tractors in North America and 11,000 threads begins to make sense. :)

I think Kubota owners just like to talk about their tractors.:)

Seriously, like Bob said, Kubota sells a majority of the small tractors out there. And who tends to buy a lot of new, fancy, high dollar little tractors? People like me who are often not only getting their first tractor but their first experience with a tractor as well. We have lots of questions!

We also have lots of fun and like to talk about it!

Bottom line is people on TBN don't know how to use the SEARCH function to find the information they need -- it's much easier to just start a new thread on a topic that has been already discussed hundreds of times.

Come on, Dave? Things change with time. Just like model numbers and opinions. And there's always some new member that can add a new twist.

I myself observed the disparity in numbers of posts between orange and other colors of postings quite some time ago. I had already gotten my tractor, then discovered TBN, then began searching around for information.

At the risk of being politically tractor incorrect/biased, as a curiosity, not a scientific study, some time ago I perused each of the color forums and noted the contents and subjects with an eye to purpose of the initial poster.

My impression then was that Orange posters had a larger % of stories of projects/fun, fewer % dealer/mechanical problems and a generally higher joy/excitement rate than non orange posters. That said, there are truly a large number of red/green/blue posters who have fun with their equipment and few if any mechanical problems.

The other tractor forms on the net just don't cut it, never mind the one that wants you to pay for a premium upgrade that has a new post every two weeks.
