110 tlb ground sensor?

Hello, I have an 04 110TLB, serial #LVO110T312292
I’m having issues only when hot in which the transmission stops workin. In arizona, so hot a lot.
It has been years trying to fix issue with dealership service shop and reading on here. The codes are mostly #5, ground speed sensor but sometimes others. Tested continuty for seat switches, fine and cowboy rigged so thinks always sat upon.
Here’s the hitch, shop says it was not equipped with a ground speed sensor?
there is a hole for it and a tapped screw hole but I cannot find the wires that it would plug into?
don’t really want to spend the $ to replace HST controller if not the issue.
Equipped with sensor?

Have you tried RDO in Prescott? I used Az Machinery in Chandler to adjust the F & R solenoids on a 110.

I have many, many times.$$$$$$$ they have been the go to for repairs And trying to find issues with machine.
Do all 110 s have a ground sensor? RDO is one who said was not equipped with one.

I know I've read about 110TLB sensors diagnosis and replacement in TBN - and even remember that there were some issues not with sensors but with how they were wired...But now can't find the thread. We had cash in hand and were trying hard to buy a 110 TLB back in 2007, but it seemed like everyone we looked at had problems. They sure are a cute tractor and just the right size. Similar to a Yanmar CTL40 -which is another older TLB that tends to be overpriced and hard to find.

We took a gamble & bought a Kubota instead. It was available, and being a new model at least it didn't have a history. That was a good bet, the Kubota has been worked hard and pretty much trouble free.

I've wondered since then about the JD110TLB. Did it really did have a lot of problems? Or does it just seem that way because of their popularity and a few owners on tractor internet forums?

The two friends of mine with the 110 TLB have had them since new and to my knowledge have had no issues. But seems I also read on TBN of issues but maybe rScotty has struck upon the reasons. Popular and owners eventually pushing them beyond their limits, and finding out what/where are the limits. TBN about the only place to announce problems.
Am sure they are not the tank that some owners want them to be, and as well may have hired help running them that could care less if they are being worked beyond their limits.

The MFWD sensor was an issue on the 4x10 machines, which the 110TLD was based on, strange things happen when it fails. Never heard of a ground speed sensor.

There was some issues, like bellhousings cracking from loose loader mounting bolts-arguably that can be said was the owners fault or not checking them routinely. The MFWD sensor issue plagued many of the 4x10 series (the 110TLD was based on a 4610 or 4710 chassis). But, overall, they were solid machines when taken care of.

I got lucky in that a $50 sensor purchase solved my issue…

I credit my luck to TBN as the dealer would have been into me easily thousands…

Other than that it has not had other issues but I do need to replace the seat cushions.

The backhoe just keeps digging and the creeper for moving is great.

were all 110’s equipped with the sensor? I got a replacement but rdo says my 110 was not equipped with one? The HST ground travel speed sensor?

As stated above, never heard of that before.
