I have both R4 and R1 tires for my B3200. I did a thread a while back on the comparison, along with some pics.
I don't know exactly the difference in dimensions, but the Ag tires are slightly taller and narrower.
Thanks for the pictures. I am trying to narrow up my B3200 so I guess my real question should have been 'is there any rim tire combination that would narrow up the tractor 3-4" per side.'
No easy way to do that. The ag tires make it maybe an inch or so narrower, but not much. The rims all have the same backspacing as far as I know. If you went with ag tires and had the rims re-centered that might get it narrow enough. You would have to take the tires off and take the wheels to a shop that builds wheels to have it done. The R4 tires are so close to the fender re-centering the rims on those would put them into the fender.
One other option might be to use the ag tires and wheels (front and rear) from one of the smaller B-series. IIRC they all use the same lead/lag ratio in the drivetrain, but you would have to check first.
Why do you want to narrow it up so much?
Well I wanted to use between the rows in a garden. I have a rototiller and cultivator that are 48" wide that I have been using with the B1550 but I would like to get rid of the 1550 to cut down on the # of machines.
Verticaltrx - Do you mind telling what you paid for the R-1 and rims? PM me if you want. I want to get a set for my 3200.
