put the bucket on the machine friday to dig a footing, worked great, only draw back is the teeth are longer than I spec'd, guy on phone told me they go on kubota's, no big deal just have to stick out first B4 un curling the bucket

Thats the first time I have seen a 12" bucket dwarf an 18". The orig looks like it belongs on a garden tractor.
With the added weight how does it handle at a far reach ?
I'm wondering why you chose to have angles in the back of the bucket, rather than a smooth round profile?
I too have made bigger buckets for my machine. The only drawback is the out-riggers/steadies are a bit short, as when swinging the boom out sideways with a full bucket full of wet clay, the machine can become unstable and lift the out-rigger!
