12 hour shift work

I worked 12 hour shifts for 21 years with the P. D. I loved the 4 12 hour shifts and 3 days off, also got 8 hours overtime every week. It also made sheduling the officers a lot easier.

Only 4,10hr days mostly...somedays end up longer than others...10pm-8am Sun night to thurs morn.Off thurs,fri,sat and all day sun...If I could only go without sleep on Sunday.I take a nap thur morn for an hr or so and go out and hop on da tractor or just play on the yard...so I get allday thur,fri,sat.I tend to stay up all day and night on sat,(often take another 1hr or 2 nap)but hit the hay around 1pm on sundays...Gota sleep some time....at work now....

Lake Viking? Where is Lake Viking? The Lutters that I am related to are from South Dakota around Red Field. There is a John Lutter, lots of them of different generations. I need more information about this John Lutter.

Lake Viking is a small community outside Gallatin Mo. which is about 70 miles north and east of Kansas City.John and his wife Sharon have lived there 4-5 years.I just thought there might be an outside chance you would know of them, considering your local.

Mitchell, home of the "Corn Palace". Pretty cool. I have a friend who pastored a church in Presho. Vacationed in the Black Hills with his family a few years back. Very pretty country.
