I haven't been able to log any more seat time lately. Things such as work, constant rain and other commitments have been keeping my rear outta the seat unfortunately. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
But, they're calling for snow this weekend so perhaps I'll get me some seat time then. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
So the latest review I have is that it looks good sitting in my shop and the that the FEL's bucket has held the same raised position for over a week now. No leakdown at all!
rbarker, thanks for the input. I'll be keeping a check on the fuel usage out once I get to OPERATE the BX23! Rain rain and more rain is all I've been getting on the weekends. Course it could be snow, which would at least get me some seat time clearing it! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I'm also considering a toothbar too.
radair, thanks for the kind words and I'm glad you enjoyed the pics. I also used this site during my tractor evaluation phase. Lots of good info here. I'd say you've got that BX23 home now. So, how ya like it?
LBrown59, I'd say your right about the bucket size. I've yet to find a cross ref on it tho. Altho the specs call for either 10" or 12" buckets, I wonder if'n the BX23 would work a 16"?
Scout180, I've seen those blades before. You say they do a good job. Do they give a better cut than the std blades?
dannydan, The dealer showed me the kit getting installed on a B7510's MMM and he said it was about the same as the kit for the BX. They had to drill holes to mount the inner baffles.
So, I'm guessing you mulch all the time when mowing. If so, does this cut down on your speed? Do you have to mow more frequently. Can you easily remove the baffle that acts as the plug?
