I am going to install some work lights on my tractor and am trying to find some nice quality toggle or rocker switches. Spent some time searching the web and looking on amazon but am just finding cheap switches. Where is everyone getting the switches you're using and are you happy with them?

Didn't think of grainger, I'll have to spend some time going through the site.

Do you know what the switch dimensions are? I looked all through the site but can't find anything related to dimensions.
Search on the Carling site for them, you can even get very nice bezel for them. You can also search out the online marine sites like West Marine for nice switches.

I got some switches from digikey. They are doing good so far.

There are loads of Marine supply stores out there, and on ebay, that sell great, weatherresistant 12 volt switches. I got mine thru

they have been great, and fit right into standard rocker switch openings. Ive also looked at custom ones from

Thanks for the links. I'm going to spend some time going through them. Just finished a couple hours of mowing after spending some time looking at the dash I think I'm going to try to find push button switches like the factory hazard light switch. With all the choices in the links you guys provided someone must make a switch like the factory Kubota. Now just got to look.

The best waterproof switches out there are the mil spec toggles that can be found in all sorts of configurations. If they can survive military use (and I used many while in), they can survive anything! Search for Cutler Hammer, Eaton, Honeywell, etc on Ebay. That's all I use for switches that will experience dust, water, snow, etc. You can also add boots to further protect them.
Here's a quick search....

Is there a mil spec push button? I'm now really leaning towards trying to match the factory Kubota push button they use for the hazard lights.

Although those toggles look pretty good, I'm going to order a few for some other uses. Thanks.

I have had good results with this dealer. Don't let the name distract you they are marine wireing supplier.
