120 V LED Spot and Flood Lights

   / 120 V LED Spot and Flood Lights #11
I'll try to stop by ACE, I do want good LED spot and flood lamps. I just bought a house and there are 4 halogen outdoor flood lights and one sodium that I want to replace, plus add one more.

Indoors the kitchen had 800W of florescent tubes with another 300W of incandescent over the kitchen table. I already have those rooms down to about 60W total with LED. A vaulted ceiling had 1280W of incandescent alone and there were various indoor flood can lamps all over. The house has 400 Amp service and the previous owner must have had a stake in the power company. Shortly I should have plenty of capacity for a welder.

Yep, I have replaced many lamps with the Cree LED's and still have many to go. I look at the 9 65 watt can lamps (br30) in the basement that are still in service and I would sure like to get rid of them. The other half of the basement is all Cree LED's now and when you put your hand on the dimmer control it is cold, and the other one with the 9 incandescent bulbs it is pretty warm. Of course it is near its 600 watt limit with 9x65=585 watts of load. I could get that down to just under 100 watts of load with LED's. It is just a matter of money. I need to do a payback analysis on this.
