1210 CHARGE LIGHT ON

When tractor is running the charge light is on dim. With engine at mid range voltage at battery is at 14 volts. Every now and then battery is dead and have to jump to start. Replaced battery and voltage regulator and the light stays on dim. Pink wire from ign switch to starter went bad about two years ago cause the engine not to turn over, replaced wire and that is fixed. Any help would be appreciated.

If your 1200 has a Hatachi alternator check to see if the brushes are stuck. My 1900 use to do this and I could tap on the alternator and the light would go out.
