NAPA can order the lower radiator hose heater for you, if there's one that fits your hose. I think they're made by Kat's. 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 inch sizes are pretty commonly available. I ordered one for my 1010 but found there was not enough space under the hood to install it properly. The heating element housing must be turned straight down to keep it immersed in the coolant at all times. Not enough clearance between the hose and the engine in my case to allow that. But it looked like a good unit to me.
Don't know how old your 1260 is, but I'd be willing to bet MF can supply you with the correct freeze plug block heater. And I've read on the internet how to install them. Doesn't look like a lot of trouble if you can reach the freeze plug that it will be replacing. I'm sure the dealer can do the work, but you might also find your local auto mechanic can do it easily enough if you can get the part.
Didn't note where you live, but a heavier battery is always a good idea.
Some people just put a 60 watt trouble light under the tractor, connect a timer to it, and lay a blanket over the hood to trap the heat from it. You'd need to keep the flammable stuff away from it to be safe.
