Hello. I have finished instaling 2 forward lights and 2 rear work lights on my 4320. Additionally I have ordered 2 work light switches to complete the project. I will also consider adding a relay just do I dont burn my tractor up. Anyway, in a thread that is quite a ways back I noticed that JD3520 installed two 12V accessory outlets in the panel on the right fender. VERY COOL! Where can I get one? Are they JD? Do they push right in or do I need to cut away the plastic with my Dremel? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The plugs were from a marine store. The panel will have to be cut for them. Dremel works good for that.

I am sure the real owner of them will reply. :)

Let me know if you need help with the relay. I recommend a Radio Shack kit box to mount it in if you do not install it in the right hand panel box. Keep the elemets off the relay better.

Relays are a very good idea. 30 amp automotive relays are about $4.00 at any auto parts store, feed the relay with 10awg wire and a 30 amp fuse or circuit breaker.

Thanks for your help guys. I will try to post some pics when I get everything finished. This site is great. Everyone here seems so much more knowledgable and friendly than my local dealers. I'm near Hagerstown MD and I have 3 dealers near me. None of them seem to be interested in helping me and often their answers to my questions are either incorrect, or said in a snobbish, short manner. I love my tractor though.

As bloomingtonmike said a Dremel will work just fine I have added 3 power switches to my Jd 3120 and have had no problems with it.I do not have a relay on my tractor but my set up includes a 8 ga. wire from the battery to a fuse panel uder my console.have had not problems with burning up wires.I am running a heavy duty beacon light,3 ROPS mounted work lights, and grill strobes not mention forwarding and daul rear work lights.

It took me a while to remember. I was walking thru Oshman's Sporting Goods in Texas and found the lighter plug-ins. They are held in with screws.
I had to cut the holes in the console but that was very easy. The console comes out in about 5 minutes so that was also easy. It takes a phillips screwdriver and a 10mm socket with a small (3") extension to remove the console. All wires are plugin.

My set up works great but if I had it to do over I would set a fuse block under the console like Matthew3120. There is plenty of room and his looks like a factory installation. I would move his back a small amount to make room for the lighter plug-ins.

Thanks JD4320. I have looked at marine 12V outlets on other websites, so I will pick one and go with it. I will try the relay as well. It sounds like good advice. By the way I was reading some 4320 sales info on the JD website and it says the 4320 has a 75 amp alternator for extra electrical attachments. Myabe my fear of burning up my switch is a moot point. It doesn't hurt to be safe though. Thanks.
