I thought you had just planted. I usually do at least a gallon per planting, but not so much later. An inch of rain off that roof is about 900 gallons.

Co-op had the worst prices when they were the only game on town. Bought from them when it was reasonable. They still stock animal meds, so we get them there to have on hand. Also if you need to break the bead on a tractor tire, they are reasonable. We get our feed at ETFS on 68. Nice people there. We try to buy from local businesses when we can as long as prices are in the ballpark, but not double.

The trees and other shrubbery are scattered around the property at various places. Your system would work great if I had all the trees and shrubs close together in a area for the hose to reach...

I actually put an ibc tote on my carryall, I just don't fill it up, otherwise I couldn't lift it either. It would be about 2300# .mycarryall is rated to 1000#. So we keep it less than a third full. My garden is near the hay shed, down hill from it actually.(imagine that, we have hills). So watering is easy, all gravity fed. The goat enclosure is down hill from the garden, so again another gravity assisted. No pumps in the system.
