Will diesel fuel flow by gravity from the tank through the glass bowl, down through the fuel pump, through the fuel filter and then into the injector pump ? Or, does the pump have to be activated and pumping actively if this is to happen?When I take the line from fuel filter into injector pump OFF, I am getting no fuel delivery out the end of the unscrewed fitting. Is this an obvious sign of blockage? Or, does the fuel pump have to be working for fuel to come out the entrance fitting to the CAV pump?
