1300d problem

Hello
I have a 1300d which will not run...I have fuel to the injection pump, but not after. Is a pump a problem with these? Should I go straight to a new or used pump or try and get this one fixed, if that is the problem?

Boy it would sure help if you led into this with some history. Was the tractor running one day and the next it would not--did you run it out of fuel?--was it running but sat for ???years and now will not start? It has good compression but there is no fuel at the injectors, or I have bled the fuel lins to--- but still am getting nothing at the injectors.

If what you are saying is that you do not have fuel at the injectors my question is how far is the fuel? do you have it to the bleeder on top of the inj pump? When you have fuel there then open the injector lines one full turn and the throttle on full and crank with the compression released and see if you have fuel to the injectors. If you still get nothing then something is plugged up along the way.

These pumps are extremely durable and do not "all of a sudden" go bad usually, so I would look for something else. Maybe you understand and have "bled" the system, if so I am sorry for being so basic, but maybe that is all the problem.

I will be watching the thread so if you have any other additions just write it out.

I bought the tractor not running so do not know for sure.

previous owner said it ran fine one day and would not start the next, who knows.

I will check it out this week, but you have given me some clues....
