Same on on the LS tractor loaders who make the workmaster tractor. Adding a flow restrictor on the curl return pretty much cures the problem. see this thread question regarding loader control valve on my g3033

There are loads of threads about floppy buckets all over the internet on most brands.
The culprit is mostly gravity. With the help of gravity, the bucket dumps faster than the hydraulic pump can fill the cylinders, so it creates and air pocket causing the bucket to flop around.
Experienced operators are aware of this and develop little tricks to avoid it, like not moving the joystick fully to the dump position, kinda regulating the flow. Other people install a couple restrictors. A lot of it could have been avoided with a better matched loader valve too.
I don't think it's much of a warranty claim though.

My kubota does it a bit but easy to manage the LS was terrible to use to back drag because you never knew where the bucket would stop. Added a one way restrictor and now I can adjust it to work as expected. Only slows the dump a hair does not affect the curl one bit.

Very possible. When I start the tractor cold sometimes there's a loud whine that lasts about 5 seconds. I've been suspicious of air in the system. But how would a guy purge air? I've swapped filters, opened the fill port, etc.

I would call the dealer and for the shop and maybe guys can answer the question as to air removal. Please share if you find out how the process of removing air works as I have seen the bucket issue before but never followed to resolution.

Curl and dump full stroke several times to remove the air. This will temporarily solve the problem. Like others have stated installing a flow control in rod end line of the dump cylinders will reduce this problem significantly. Other option is regenerative dump but that would potentially require a new valve.

So before I go to the hassle of hauling the tractor down to the dealership which is 40 minutes away I talked to the service writer on the phone. He basically said that while it's not an ideal situation, they almost all do the same thing in this class of tractor. He said the cylinders are small and the design allows air to get "on the back side" of the piston and it creates that floppy situation.
His recommendation is to raise the boom all the way, then cycle the bucket from full curl to full dump a few times to force air back down to the fluid reservoir. He also said to make sure the filters are really tight, and the quick couplers aren't leaking at all....not even a slight dribble.

Really with an empty bucket and running at full throttle the hydro flow keeps up. Worst case is full bucket low RPM, some how the way many of us want to operate. I don't want/need high RPM to dump load of manure in the compost pile.
Adding a 1 way adjustable flow restrictor on the curl return lets the dump cylinder keep up and not get into the the bucket stops until the hydro flow catches up and or sudden bucket drop condition. On my LS putting right on the disconnect it is easy to adjust on fly if needed. Cured the I want to back drag but the bucket is all floppy until I curl and dump slowly a couple of times to find the right balance.
