question regarding loader control valve on my g3033

That is why holding the valve open and keeping pressure applied in the dump mode
reduces the flop.

Also keeping the engine revs up, esp with tractors that have low implement pump flow rates.

I just picked up a new LS XR4145 and it is already doing this. My guess is that this loader valve is not setup as a regen (lame and cheap) for bucket dump and is sucking AIR in and cavitating. I order a Prince flow restrictor that I will put in on the return line of the curl cylinder so it forces the dump action to fill up and force the curl instead of letting gravity pull it down. My theory is that if i tune it just right, it will only slightly reduce curl up speed and take almost all of the slop out of the bucket.

If you get this set correctly it will help reduce the run-away tilt function.

Just got it setup. Definitely an improvement with no noticeable flop. Here is a picture. I didn't realize that the flow valve is free flow in the curl position so there is no impact on curl speed.... Bonus!

Its hard to really say what the flow is set at. What I did was basically turn down the flow until the bucket dump slowed just a little bit and the tractor started to labor a little bit when dumping. Best of luck. I put another hour on it this weekend and its working great still.

You will need a 3/8 male/male NPT nipple also if you didn't order it. Can also be had at your local farm supply store. I took the entire line off the tractor and set it up in a vice. I didn't think I could get the fittings tight while still mounted.

I installed mine today. Haven't really pushed it yet but looks encouraging. It does slow the dump speed as I guess I could have figured, but I think that's OK with me. The good news is that it's adjustable so, if I can't stand the slower dump speed, I can just open it up. That's with an empty bucket too. We'll have to see if it's still slower with a full bucket. All in all, pretty nice for $38.

Can you guys elaborate more on the bucket flop issue you are experiencing. Not sure I follow what you are describing. When exactly does this occur? I have an R4041 and haven't noticed anything unusual when I dump the bucket.
