My 1450 has the two check valves on top of the Hydro unit, with plungers to release them for pushing/towing. I have the lever, but the part to push down on the valves is missing. My Cub dealer tells me that it is discontinued. It was missing when I got the tractor.

I don't even know what this part looks like. Is there any source for these, or does someone have a work-around?

Thanks!

My parts catalog did not show any release mechanism. My 1450 was a 1978 model and the 2 check valves (1 of which leaked and had to be replaced) had vent holes in the top but no plungers Apparently they did away with the release mechanism if your tractor is older than 1978. Curiously my new 3235 has a release on the rear.

My 1450 is at my upstate house and right now I'm 200 miles away otherwise I would have posted a picture of the part.

Thanks Guys!

That website is pretty good. I think I'm going to check out a few junkyards before I drop $30. including shipping, but now I know what I need.
