Is the new 14LA loader standard with the quick attach feature or is that something that is extra cost? If so, is it worth the extra cost?

I'm looking at an older TC29D tractor with the 7308 loader and wonder how that compares to a new one with the 14LA loader. Is one much easier to take on and off than the other?

Thanks.

Doug, I have NO IDEA about taking off the 7308, but I do have the 12LA loader on one of my tractors, it is the little brother of the 14LA but essentially a scaled down version of the same unit. I'm pretty slow, but taking it off is about a 2 or 3 minute job. Maybe 5 if I'm hot and crabby. But it is about as simple a system as I've seen. Basically you have 2 pins to remove and 4 hoses to unhook. The loader even has its own stand built in so re-attaching it is just as simple.

Doug, I don't have the exact number, but I believe the 14LA has 250-300 lb greater lift capacity. That's why the older Class II tractors can't be retrofitted. Their front axle isn't as strong as the new Class IIs.

Doug, I believe the 7308 would be quicker on and off than the newer model. You don't even have to get off the tractor until it's time to disconnect the hoses. I have an extremely clean TC29DA/7308 with hydro, turfs, and only 240 hrs. if you're interested
