i do alot of bsiness with the dairy farming community. These folks are having a hard time with grain prices, geez, i wonder why. Not a good idea to burn our food for fuel.

If it gives you less MPG (and it does) then you have to buy more gas. Then the state and Fed government gets more money on the gas tax cause they sold more.. They win!!!

At least part of the mpg loss in response to our need for more power to the wheels, and today's pickups weigh much more than yesterdays. (My '09 Silverado tips the scales at +-5800lbs depending on how full the tank is; my '87 is a lightweight at 4600lbs.)I hate it. What a crap fuel. They have us all so brain washed. We are happy to get 30 mpg in a car and 15 mpg in a truck but I remember my 1986 Ford Escort got over 35 mpg and my dad had a F-150 at the time that got better than 15 mpg.
We have taken 4 steps backwards for each step forward.
