Sig

Have you considered the 25 series? It doesn't come in 4 wheel but it's 35 hp and the 3 point lift is almost the same as the 4110. You can get one with an FEL for about 15k. I've been very happy with mine. I bought the 3325 without powersteering so i can't put an FEL on it but otherwise it's done everything i've needed on my 30 acres! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

So far i've been able to mow down some serious brush with a 6' KK,pulled out some old railroad ties somebody had stuck in about 3' deep with my boompole, and pulled down an old barn with the drawbar. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif that was fun!

if you want to dig up stumps you would need a BH or a strong heavy tractor and the 25 series fits the bill. It doesn't come with a lot of bells and whistles but its a workhorse.

Anyways,thats my 2 cents...

I think TYM uses Kubota engines in their self-branded tractors, maybe the small differences in the engines are the reason for the different ratings (vs the Daedong engine) .

That holds true based on the specification published on TYM's Korean website EXCEPT for their three largest (58-70 gross engine horsepower) tractors. Those engines (58-70 hp) are by John Deere.

If you get the smaller tractor you need the hoe, if you get the bigger tractor, get the hoe. You arent pulling stumps with the FEL without messing it up badly. They are not made for that.

Since you are doing more actual work over then mowing, I think you might want to go on the bigger side.

Seeing as how you guys know your stuff, here's my dilema. I want a tractor that will pick up a round bale in the 1100+ pound range. I have 3-4 acres to mow, will be doing some FEL work in barn and yard, box blading drive areas, backhoe work, etc. The FEL capability has me considering a 354 model, 35hp Mahindra or a 522 hr used JD 4600. What are your thoughts on this comparative?? Thanks for the help. I think I've done enough looking and would like to buy this week and get to doing some real work on this place (only 7 acres, but needs some TLC).

Sorry - forgot to ask if Mahindra has something similar to power reverser of JD. I'm not so keen on the HST as I'm kind of simple, like the gear for mowing and the non clutching, easy hand operation of the pwr rev.
