1500D Question

Here is the deal,

This dealer lists all tractors available with a picture on the web site. Also has a brief description of the tractors features. No file pics, they claim that it is of the actual tractor (one of their claimed selling points). On the description for the tractor that I put up their picture of here, it shows it to be a 3 cyl. I questioned this via email and the response was as quoted above, I just clipped the quote right out of their email to me. Because they were so sure and it seemed they were a little miffed at me for asking the question, I decided to look into it further and see if anyone had heard of a 3 cyl OEM 1500D. Never did talk to them on the phone as all I get is an answering machine. That is the whole sorry story, consequently I don't think I will be buying anything from them.

jknight, I am familiar with the dealer you are talking about. Not a big shock, he is going by what the importer is telling him. I have seen that a lot lately. Lots of guys are selling tractors on eBay that have HUGE hp and engine inflations. The responses I received all said the same thing "this is what the import broker "specialist" said it was!!" I have seen 2210 Yanmars listed as 30hp and 4 cylinder 20 hp Shibauras. I even bet I am pretty high up on this guys bashing list? Hehe. Anyway I have a couple 3 cylinder Iseki’s to look at but I only have 2 cylinder YM1500's for sale. I think that would be a great tractor though.... a little bit smoother and quieter. Keep having fun with it!

Funny that you should answer up on this as this dealer in the same email to me said I should try "ECF" as you are closer to me than he is. Funny that they would say that since they definately are "Bashing" you big time on their site. I think I must have miffed them mentioning the 1500D engine thing. I also asked how they post "Actual" pictures when they don't have the tractor in stock.

Just to add my two cents in here: I have a 1500D, it is the same model shown in the picture and it is definitely a two cylinder engine.

I think he just needs a hug. hehe. How special am I... I have a guy who spends a thousand dollars a month in print ads and has a whole website devoted to the notion that I am a piece of crap.... I stopped running print ads in certain counties because he mentions my name so much I don’t have to. He is defiantly getting a fruit cake for Christmas. /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif
