1510 vs. 1610

If you know anyone that works in a fab shop they can make you a pto shield if concerned.I have a friend in the fab business & he made me 1.

Your loader is your front end ballast. Most weigh around 700 lbs, so that's plenty. I would go with the 1610d over the 1510d. It's a whole different level of tractor. Some differences:
1510d tires: front 5-12 rear 8-18
1610d tires: front 5-14 rear 8.3-22
1610d has temp & fuel gauges
bare naked weight (no loader or implements):
1510d 1345 lbs.
1610d 1609 lbs.

What are the major (if any) differences--other than HP--between a 1610d & an F16 D?

f16d and 1610 have the same HP. Other than that they are not similar. The f16d is a newer model with semi walk through design. I think it has a gear trans.

I have pictures of a F20d and a 1601D on my website. F20d is same style as F16D. 1601D is same style as 1610d. You can see the differences.
