Its actually listed filter in the parts breakdown... simple little pump that Mitsu and a lot of other similar size tractors have.. my Massey 1540 (Iseki) has a similar set up... never had any issues with keeping the tractor primed or if worst happens run out of fuel... just fill her up and she fires back just fine
