Loader 1533 FEL Question

I have a 1533, when I use my FEL, I can only barely pick up 3/4 bucket of dry sand. It seems like the FEL has lost it's ability to pick up it's designed payload. I have added a second valve that allows me to use my small grappler, but I don't think that would have reduced it ability. I only have 130 hours on the tractor. It has not had any work done to it since the 50 hour PM.
I have probably neglected some things, but will go over my manuel when I get back. i need to pay more attention to the maintenance schedule.
Does anybody have any ideas of what to look for? Maybe air in the hydraulics?

I have a box blade that is elevated when I use my fel, does the hydraulics also hold UP the box blade while I use the fel? In other words, am I taxing the hydraulics by driving around with the box blade raised and it draws the needed power to pick up the heavy sand?

I've never had a problem with ours. Not sure if our 4n1 bucket has a slightly smaller capacity than yours, but I can easily lift a full load of topsoil.

I'd at least check the fluid and make sure it is full.

My guess would be either low fluid level or the pressure relief valve needs to be bumped up a little. Maybe the spring was weak to start with. Air will bleed out of the system on it's own with normal use. I am assuming that it would pick up a full bucket before now?

I would like to find out from someone other than the shop what I might have to look for to see if I can correct the problem myself. The shop gets 95 an hour for labor. Jezz.

I figure someone on this site really knows the hydraulic system on the 1533

Unfortunately I am not familiar with the system. I do know that you should use a pressure gauge when adjusting it. You do not want to go much over OEM specs and you should find out what that number is, although I guess that it is around 2500PSI. You may want to get the shop manual for your tractor and loader, but that will be expensive in itself. Maybe post the question in the hydraulics section, lots of smart people over there.
